The Plus-Sized Mermaid's Revenge

The Story

A lonely teenage mermaid longs to be seen, but a mysterious cat spirit grants her three wishes instead. She swaps her true form for a new appearance, gaining fleeting attention that quickly turns into confusion. Others project their own expectations onto her, binding her in a web of prejudice rather than genuine connection. The illusion of belonging fades, leaving her to confront the discomfort of being judged. She eventually finds her place among fellow outsiders, rejecting the pressure to conform. Together, they break through societal barriers. She stops chasing external validation and embraces her identity. The journey reveals that true courage comes from accepting who she really is, not from changing to fit in.
