The Prince's Branded Slave

The Story

Northern barbarians mistake a captive for a princess and offer her to their chief. When a fellow slave reveals the truth, the woman is cast into the pits and branded on the face. After three years of constant flight, she nears the capital. Fate intervenes as she tumbles down a slope and lands directly at the hooves of Yago López.
