The Queen's Substitute Lover: All Episodes

The Story

Queen Catherine mourns knight Elliott, believing he died for her throne. Grief drives her to take stable-hand Adrian, a look-alike, as a substitute lover. Adrian’s power hunger leads him to betray her with Beatrice, ruin her garden, and desecrate Elliott’s tomb. The delusion shatters when his beauty mark is cut. Elliott actually survives, bitter from war. When the fallen Adrian joins William’s coup, Catherine crushes the treason. She reunites with her true love, ending the deception that nearly destroyed her realm.
