The Red Lily I Chose to Forget

The Story

Valentina Rinaldi sheds her identity as Nightshade, the most lethal cleaner in Red Lily, after Luca Moretti repeatedly chooses fragile Mia over her. The betrayal culminates when Luca authorizes a brutal punishment against her, forcing Valentina to seek the only remaining escape. She pays to erase every memory of Red Lily, Luca, and her former self. Three years later, she inhabits a quiet life as a bookstore owner in Palermo, unable to recall the man who destroyed her. When Luca finally locates her, he confronts the reality that the woman who once loved him is gone. The survivor standing before him owes him nothing.
