The Reincarnated Husband

The Story

Esther endures five years of brutal abuse at the hands of her husband Carl, who cheats on her and indirectly kills their daughter. On their wedding anniversary, a violent argument results in Carl’s death. A traumatized Esther buries him in their backyard before falling asleep. The next morning, Carl reappears, alive and behaving with the same kindness he showed when they first met. This gentle demeanor starkly contrasts with the cruel man she buried. Esther is left wondering whether Carl truly returned from the dead or if someone else has taken his place.
