The Story

Arthur stands before the crowd at the Midwinter Banquet as his wife strips him of his title. She humiliates him after five years of protection, replacing him with her returning first love. To the onlookers, he is a useless man dependent on Silverleaf Academy. They remain ignorant of the truth behind his strength. Arthur once sealed away his godlike power to save the continent. The academy survives solely because of his hidden efforts. When his wife finally casts him out, he has nothing left to lose. Arthur ends the contract that bound him to humanity. He walks away from the scene. The moment he departs, the entire kingdom begins to collapse.
