The Story

Sienna, a head cheerleader and trustee's daughter, is forced by her mother to share a dorm with Reese, the top student. She immediately draws a line down the middle, declaring that Reese is a lesbian and that she needs protection. Reese responds with a cool warning that Sienna might be the one falling for her. Although Sienna dismisses this idea, she finds herself increasingly drawn to her roommate. She buys matching wetsuits so Reese can swim comfortably, rushes back from a birthday party with cake when Reese has a fever, and steps in to defend her when Preston humiliates her. The tension breaks during graduation when Sienna stands on the stage and tells Reese she loves her in front of the entire school. Her mother, Vivienne, finally tears up and admits that Sienna truly loves her daughter. The relationship moves from drawn lines on the floor to intertwined fingers as the two navigate their shared living space.
