The Roommate Lover

The Story

Corinne flees her wedding in a bridal gown and stumbles into a rental office where a landlord's error forces her and Andre to share an apartment. Their bickering turns into a reluctant roommate arrangement that intensifies when Corinne accepts a job at a rising ad agency and discovers Andre is her boss. Office gossip about their living situation prompts Andre to ask for secrecy while he publicly defends her against slanders. Their affection grows despite the rumors, but James, Corinne's former fiancé, returns to win her back. She rejects him, yet workplace rumors persist. Corinne feels abandoned when Andre does not immediately support her publicly, unaware he has secretly assigned her to a new project. A dinner with friends reveals Andre is hiding a secret, widening the gap between them. Corinne resigns and is tracked down by James. Meanwhile, Andre's mother arranges a fiancée for him, adding new complications to their relationship.
