The Runaway Colorblind Bride
The Story
Daisy relies entirely on her fiancé Ethan to interpret the world, having lived her life with total color blindness. After seven years of unwavering trust, their bond fractures at a prenuptial party. To please his childhood friend Hannah, Ethan lies about the color of the balls Daisy draws and welcomes her intimate advances. He continues to erode Daisy’s confidence by arbitrarily adding Hannah to the bridesmaid list and altering the wedding color scheme. These deliberate actions steadily wear away the foundation of their relationship, leaving Daisy to navigate a shifting reality defined by Ethan’s deceit.
