The Serpent Lord Wraps Her Close

The Story

Leah sells herself to Sean, the Serpent Lord, to save her mother from a curse that turns her body into snake scales. This binding forces Leah to carry nine serpent eggs while Sean protects her. He is later compelled to enter a heavenly trial, leaving her behind. Alone, Leah returns home where the village frames her as a demon and nearly kills her. Sean returns in time to rescue her from the villagers. He then discovers that Leah is actually the daughter of his long-lost benefactor. The truth of her identity emerges as he shields her from the community that sought her death. Their connection deepens through this revelation, linking their fates in a way neither fully understood before the trial separated them.
