The Story

A single command from Bella’s grandmother forbids her from ever touching a serpent. She ignores this warning when she stumbles upon a badly injured man deep in the woods. She does not realize she is holding Silvan, the notorious Silver Serpent King. He decides immediately that she belongs to him. On the day she plans to marry her childhood sweetheart, Silvan crashes the ceremony and claims her in front of the entire crowd. Frightened by his possessive nature, Bella attempts to flee with her trusted companion. Her plan collapses when the man she relies on most betrays her, handing her over as a sacrifice.
