The Silverborn's Vow

The Story

Alera faces immediate betrayal when her fiancé Caleb abandons her to marry Serena. Seeking solace, she encounters Valen, the King of Ashyn, who suffers a curse that forces him to exist as a beast. The two forge a binding blood pact that changes their fates. Driven by jealousy, Caleb and Serena scheme to steal Alera’s inherent power. They construct a dangerous trap for her, but Alera responds by awakening her true Silverborn heritage. During the coronation, she publicly exposes Serena’s fraudulent abilities and violently tears out Caleb’s core to end their long deception. Alera and Valen subsequently secure a period of peace, yet the vampire council rises to signal the start of a new war.
