The Siren King's Captive

The Story

Nerissa, a marine ecologist, faces captivity after a storm carries her into the domain of Thalos, king of the sirens. Held prisoner due to a blood feud between their peoples, she chooses compassion over hostility by tending to wounded sirens and sacrificing herself to melt the ice encasing Thalos’s heart. Her acts of mercy attract the envy of the sorceress Lyra, who schemes to frame her. Meanwhile, Nerissa’s fiancé Kai falls under the control of businessman Adrian, who exploits him to hunt sirens and extract their immortal genes. Nerissa uncovers these dangerous plots and exposes the true intentions behind the attacks. Her bravery clears the path for peaceful coexistence between humans and sirens. The conflict ends with Nerissa returning to the sea. She stands beside Thalos and assumes the role of queen of the deep.
