The Story

Zhao Fengnian abandons his village after a dispute, only to transform a tiny city eatery into a local legend. His departure leaves the orchard business in ruins, but when Shen Mobo cuts off his supplies, he recalls his father’s wisdom that craft exists to sustain people, not pride. He ventures into the mountains to forage wild ingredients, returning with a method to convert fruit into income. This single dish reconnects him to his roots, linking one village to a road home.
