The Story

Elizabeth wakes on the operating table with the full memory of a life where she died. Her husband, Arthur, stands by as he yanks the surgical team away from her critical bone marrow transplant. He abandons her leukemia treatment to attend to Lily, his childhood sweetheart, who suffers only from mild abdominal pain. In her former existence, this betrayal led to her death and the subsequent loss of her parents while they fought for justice. Now, armed with the truth of what happens next, Elizabeth refuses to accept her fate. From the treatment table, she calls her parents, lawyers, and hospital board members. With the aid of a righteous nurse and the vice director, she gathers irrefutable medical evidence. Arthur attempts to silence her through threats and by cutting off her care. She pushes past his manipulation. Elizabeth exposes his medical malpractice and financial crimes directly to the authorities, dismantling his control over the hospital.
