The Story

Lindsay’s quiet high school existence shatters when Wayne Adams, a recruited football star, moves into her home. Her father, Mike, serves as the school’s football coach and strictly warns Lindsay to suppress any feelings toward the new resident. Despite this pressure, Lindsay remains determined to secure a boyfriend before graduation. Her romantic pursuits frequently result in awkward encounters with unreliable men, leaving her stranded in difficult situations. Wayne consistently steps in to rescue her from these predicaments. As their bond deepens through these shared experiences, the two begin a secret relationship. Simultaneously, bullying within the school escalates, compelling Lindsay to take a stand for her peers. Her courageous efforts earn the support and respect of the entire school community. The year concludes with Lindsay and Wayne being crowned Prom King and Queen. Mike finally approves of their relationship.
