The Wastrel General's Revenge

The Story

Lachlan Lennox, the son of a general lost to conspiracy, hides his true abilities behind a facade of incompetence. Adopted by Duke Gideon Jennings, he poses as a wastrel to plan his revenge. His deliberate failure earns the contempt of his fiancée, Princess Serena Sloan, who terminates their engagement. She remains unaware that the masked hero rescuing her is the man she just cast aside. Lachlan must sustain this deceptive persona while guarding the princess. His ultimate goal is to reveal his adoptive father’s betrayal and secure justice for his biological father’s death.
