The Winter That Stole Summer

The Story

Summer, a half-dragon cast out by her pureblood beastman family, grows up in poverty under the care of her human father. When the same illness that threatens her future finally claims his life, she kneels outside the Herington estate to beg for aid. Her long-lost mother, Clara, finally appears before her. In that moment, Summer screams the single word she has kept hidden for years, calling out to her mother.
