The Story

A former pop diva abandons her stage at the height of her fame to support her husband from the shadows. Five years into their secret marriage, he breaks his vows by mistaking another woman for his childhood sweetheart. When that woman catches a minor cold, he leaves his wife and sick daughter stranded on the street. The child dies of pneumonia while they wait. Devastated, she decides to leave him forever. He becomes nothing more than a distant mirage in her mind. She steps back onto the stage to reclaim her own path to glory, leaving the pain of his betrayal behind her as she moves forward alone.
