The Years I Lost You

The Story

Stella, the former Chief Judicial Magistrate of the Imperial Capital, endures a life of brutal retribution after a calculated conspiracy brands her a traitor. Henry, consumed by despair and hatred, forces a marriage and subjects her to severe punishments, including piercing her body with poisoned needles and sending her to the Shadow Monastery. There, a ritual strips away her memories and emotions. Battered to the brink, Stella signs an annulment contract and vanishes. Henry later uncovers that his fiancée Vivian and her family orchestrated the entire scheme. Overwhelmed by remorse, he kills his enemies at their wedding ceremony and embarks on a frantic quest to find Stella. He finally tracks her down in a foreign land, where she has built a new life guarded by a gentle knight. Her clear eyes hold no trace of him. To his belated devotion, she gives her answer with a hand-carved wooden ring.
