The Story

Elena faces public humiliation when Chloe, her assistant, and Arthur, her fiancé, fire her from Miller Tech. She immediately reclaims her identity as the heir to a powerful Wall Street family. Major figures quickly arrive to support her, but Arthur remains defiant. Elena ends the engagement and cuts off the secret resources she had been providing, driving Miller Tech toward bankruptcy. Chloe attempts to bribe an investment from the Sterling family, but Julian Sterling, the head of that family, exposes her scheme in public. Arthur realizes his success depended entirely on Elena and is filled with regret. Elena marries her childhood friend Julian. At their wedding, Arthur causes a scene in his suit and is ruthlessly thrown out. The Belmont family eventually acquires Miller's company. Elena and Julian live happily together, while Arthur weeps in despair and remorse.
