Too Late to Beg for Forgiveness

The Story

Melissa endures relentless abuse after her biological sister Ollie returns to the Cullen household. The family, swayed by Ollie, views Melissa as lazy and materialistic, frequently mocking her weight and non biological status. They reject her entirely, discarding her as an unwanted burden. They remain blind to the true reason for her physical changes. Melissa has been conducting secret experiments to cure the family’s hereditary illness, sacrificing her health to develop a cure. The family destroys her research records and forces her out of the house. Only after her departure do they discover the truth behind her weight gain and her dedication to their well being. They realize she suffered for their sake while they mistreated her. The family weeps and begs her to come home, but Melissa refuses. She has finally found peace away from their cruelty. The opportunity to make amends has passed.
