Toxic Favorability

The Story

Julian Yale wakes up inside the novel he created, trapped as the frail shou. The System commands him to boost his Favorability with the cold Prince Sterling to secure a return home. He attempts to win the Prince over by blocking wine, delivering soup, and acting pitiful. However, Sterling grows suspicious of these calculated efforts. As Julian’s performance shifts into genuine affection, the Favorability score climbs steadily. He reaches the point where he can finally escape back to his original life. Yet, the desire to leave vanishes. Loving Sterling has evolved from a mandatory quest into his true wish. The mission to return home is no longer the only path he wants to take.
