Trapped Love

The Story

Dragon prince Caelen deceives herbalist Leora into sacrificing a decade of her life to cure his curse, which is actually a cruel bet among his brothers. Humiliated by his betrayal at a royal banquet, she flees with aged features and a shattered heart. While Crown Prince Kaelen pursues her in a bloody bid for the throne, Caelen gives up his wings, youth, and years to bind their souls and ensure her survival. After the tyrant falls, Leora retreats to a coastal town where she runs a small flower shop. For five years, the now mortal and aged Caelen observes her from a distance. He watches over her life but never approaches. He remains silent in the shadows, yearning for her while respecting her need for peace. The former prince lives as a quiet observer, content to let her find happiness without his presence, even though his love remains unspoken and his time as a dragon is long gone.
