Water Broke, Heart Broke

The Story

Kyra faces a horrifying betrayal while nine months pregnant. Her husband takes her hospital bag for another woman, locking her inside and severing her phone connection. He seals the door and watches through a camera as she bleeds, dismissing her distress as making a scene. The night strips away everything she knew, leaving only her will to stand. The stolen bag represents her final reason to forgive. Kyra rejects any apology. She demands the truth and a divorce. She seeks a life completely out of his reach.
