When Fame Meets Love

The Story

Harlan’s life shatters on his sixteenth birthday when a car accident kills his mother and stepfather. Forced into an unlikely arrangement, he moves in with Eva, his late stepfather’s twenty-two-year-old daughter, who assumes guardianship of him. By the time he is eighteen, Harlan realizes his feelings for his guardian have deepened into love. Before their relationship can progress, Eva abruptly expels him from the home. Six years pass before their paths cross again. Harlan has transformed into a famous star, while Eva operates a small coffee shop. Destiny pulls them back into each other’s orbit, reuniting the pair who once shared a roof but lost everything else in the intervening years.
