The Story

A fatal car accident on Harlan’s sixteenth birthday leaves him orphaned when his mother and stepfather die. Forced by circumstances to live with his twenty-two-year-old stepfather’s daughter, Eva, he becomes her dependent. As Harlan matures, he develops romantic feelings for his guardian at eighteen. Before their relationship can progress, Eva ends their arrangement and removes him from the home. Six years pass before the two cross paths again. Harlan now holds the status of a popular star, while Eva manages a coffee shop. Fate reunites them after their long separation.
