When I Was Gone, He Went Mad

The Story

Ava’s life shatters when her father forces her to frame her beloved, Sebastian, for a fatal car accident. The coercion saves her mother and unborn child but destroys their future. Sebastian serves three years in prison, while Ava rejects an arranged marriage and is disowned by her family. She raises their daughter, Bella, who suffers from a heart condition, entirely alone. Six years later, Sebastian returns as the CEO of MK Group. He seeks revenge against the woman who betrayed him, subjecting her to public humiliation. Ava endures his cruelty solely to secure medical funds for Bella. She repeatedly fails to reveal the child’s identity to him. Their past misunderstandings and the truth about their daughter begin to surface. The entanglement of love and hate drives the conflict. Ava ultimately sacrifices herself to clear Sebastian’s name. This act leaves him to live with deep remorse for his actions.
