The Story

Paige, a talented musician, struggles to afford the Royal Academy of Music application fees. At a homecoming party, she intends to confess her feelings to Vera, but nervousness leads her to knock on the wrong door. She finds Talia, the cheerleading captain, who has just discovered her boyfriend Derek’s betrayal. Talia proposes a fake relationship contract, asking Paige to pose as her girlfriend until the National Cheerleading Championship. In exchange, Talia helps Paige join the music club and raise funds. They navigate campus gossip and Derek’s vicious retaliation, causing their arrangement to evolve into genuine affection. Derek spreads lies while Talia’s controlling mother uses money and media to drive a wedge between them. A severe ankle injury threatens Talia’s career, and misunderstandings strain their bond. Supported by friends and her brother, Paige accepts herself, exposes Derek, and passes her audition with an original song titled Cheer for My Heart. She rushes to the championship to confess publicly. Defying class prejudice, the two girls choose their future together.
