The Story

A father’s reckless devotion to his son spirals into total ruin. As his spoiled child smashes the only available cure, insults the attending physician, and wrecks property, the father shields him at every turn. He learns too late that the doctor is his own boss. The consequences arrive swiftly, leaving him fired and arrested. Stripped of everything, he is forced to watch his son grow weaker and die.
