A Desperate Love

The Story

Emily’s life shatters when an anonymous video reveals her father, Victor Young, and her mother’s killer in a double wedding. The clip shows her father in a groom’s suit beside Morgana Ashford, while Victor stands arm-in arm with Morgana’s visibly pregnant illegitimate daughter. Cheering voices congratulate the couples, calling Emily’s marriage fake. Her father dismisses their union, declaring the unborn child illegitimate. Victor adds that he cannot let his own child suffer the same fate as Isabella. Emily had believed she was the pampered princess of Beverly Hills, waited upon at every check-up. Yet on her anatomy scan day, both men vanished for their important project. They promised gifts and comfort before leaving. Now, alone in the hospital, she receives a sterilization certificate. The document claims her unborn child will be the sole heir. The revelation strips away the illusion of love, exposing the cold calculation behind her sudden status. The betrayal cuts deep, leaving her isolated with the truth.
