The Story

Dr. Song Xueyao rushes to save Zhang Xiulan after the woman’s tricycle strikes her during a heatstroke episode. Despite her own injuries, Song secures Zhang’s medical care, only to face a brutal betrayal when Zhang and her children frame her for the collision. The false accusation triggers Song’s dismissal from her job and isolates her further as her husband, Chen Dongke, and his mother join the chorus of blame. Xia Haoming steps in with surveillance footage that exposes the truth, allowing Song to reclaim her position. Yet the conflict escalates when Chen, suspecting an affair, demands a divorce and orchestrates a public livestream to ruin her reputation. Song seeks Xia’s assistance, who uncovers proof of Chen’s own infidelity. In court, Xia presents the evidence and witnesses, securing a victory for Song. The final revelation comes when Xia discloses that Song once saved his life. He confesses his feelings, she accepts, and the two begin a new life together.
