A Love That Didn't Survive

The Story

A single anonymous video shatters the illusion of a perfect life. After a decade of love, Emily believes she has found redemption and security through her marriage to Victor Young and the support of her father. For months, she lives as a pampered expectant mother in Beverly Hills, surrounded by praise and care. Yet on the day of her major ultrasound, both men vanish under the guise of urgent work. Instead of gifts, Emily receives a shocking clip. Her father stands in a groom's suit beside Morgana Ashford, the woman responsible for her mother's death. Beside them is their illegitimate daughter, visibly pregnant in a wedding dress, arm in arm with Victor. They toast to a double happiness, openly dismissing Emily's pregnancy as illegitimate. Victor chuckles about sparing his other child from suffering. As Emily leaves the hospital in tears, her phone vibrates with a vasectomy certificate. The message declares that the child in her womb will be the sole heir of his life.
