The Story

Claire shatters her painful marriage at forty-six to find love with Julien St. Clair, the descendant of a European aristocrat. The couple plans to remarry, but their ex-husband Richard, his wife Sophia, and Claire’s former mother-in-law Margaret plot against them. Richard is bankrupt, Sophia is a gold-digger, and Margaret acts as an antagonist. The trio conspires to sabotage the wedding and defame Claire.
