A Ruler in Disguise

The Story

Marcus, a warlord wielding absolute power over America’s economy and weapons, arrives at his brother Reed’s wedding. Wearing a mission uniform, he is mistaken for a delivery worker and faces immediate disdain from the bride and her family. Marcus attempts to secure a match for Reed with the famous Three Goddesses of America, but his claims are met with disbelief and public humiliation. Reed steps in to defend his brother, prompting the bride’s family to turn on him. She publicly dumps Reed to marry her ex, a man secretly bankrupting Reed’s business. Enraged by the betrayal, Marcus strikes back and humiliates the entire group. The crowd finally learns his true identity and realizes the magnitude of their mistake, but the moment of regret arrives far too late.
