The Story

Evan Cross wakes with his body present but his soul trapped in the Abyss Penitentiary. After years of resisting the chains, the dream changes when the Monkey King opens his eyes behind bronze bars. The deity names Evan the Seventh Guardian, prompting a deal to find the lost staff and wield the Monkey King's power for freedom. While seeking the weapon, Evan uncovers a darker truth. The Abyss holds no prisoners but hides what the Celestial Court fears most. He realizes he was never just a guardian.
