The Story

An orphan and an heiress begin a union built on unequal footing. She chases him for seven years before he finally agrees to marry her. For five years, he handles the cooking, cleaning, and waiting, while she spends her nights with a younger man. On their anniversary, he sits alone at a candlelit table, listening to a voice message that reveals her affair. He does not confront her. Instead, he quietly erases his identity, signs the divorce papers, and vanishes without a trace. Three years later, he returns to an international investment summit as the chairman of a global conglomerate. He stands arm in arm with his true wife. She rushes toward him, crying and begging him to come back. He calmly removes her fingers from his wrist. He tells her that the day he left, their lives had already ended. He offers no second chance and no forgiveness. Only goodbye remains.
