After I’m gone, Mom stops playing favorites
The Story
A biased mother-in-law leaves her pregnant son’s new wife to tend to her eldest daughter, who is recovering from a car accident. Misled by slanderous lies, she abandons the eight-months-pregnant daughter-in-law who collapses and ultimately dies despite rescue efforts. The mother-in-law later discovers the shocking truth: her deceased daughter-in-law had donated bone marrow to save her, while her own daughter withheld money and concealed the reality. Overcome with deep regret, the mother-in-law returns to face the consequences of her favoritism. One year later, she visits the grave of the deceased daughter-in-law. The entire family accompanies her to pay their respects and honor the memory of the woman who sacrificed everything for the family.
