The Story

Alan White, a reclusive Archmage on the verge of becoming a Grand Magus, leaves the Misty Mountains to honor his master Merlin's final request: marry Sophie Black, the heiress of the Black family. Upon arriving in Los Angeles, he saves Sophie from an ambush by the Anderson family. After spending one night together, Sophie leaves him money and departs. The following day, Alan shows up at her door with a marriage contract, exposing both of their identities. To avoid a forced marriage with Arthur Anderson, Sophie accepts a contract marriage with Alan. He assumes the role of her chauffeur, enduring public contempt while secretly using magic to dismantle assassination plots and corporate attacks. As the Andersons escalate their aggression, Sophie uncovers Alan's hidden power. The arrangement evolves into genuine love. Alan eventually reveals his true status as Archmage and head of the White household. He crushes the Andersons, saves the Black Group, and shocks the entire city.
