Bad Luck? She Was a Blessing

The Story

Two-year-old Mopsy faces abandonment at a ruined chapel on a snowy night, barely escaping wolves after being falsely branded a curse. The impoverished Hart family rescues her, and her gift for understanding animals soon turns their fortunes. She repeatedly averts danger and brings food and luck to the household. Slander, demands from her former foster parents, and her elder brother’s unfair treatment as an apprentice test the group. Mopsy and the Harts protect one another through these hardships. They uphold kindness and courage to overcome their struggles. The household builds a truly warm family.
