Beyond Your Reach

The Story

Eliza survives three years as a substitute bride, enduring constant humiliation for a single goal: five million dollars and total freedom. Her husband loves only his mistress, treating Eliza as a disposable tool in his marriage. During a violent snowstorm, he locks her on a freezing terrace to prove his devotion to the other woman. As the cold sets in and darkness closes in, Eliza faces a terrifying realization. No one in that house cares if she lives or dies. The freezing night forces a final confrontation with the reality of her trapped existence, stripping away any remaining illusions of safety or value in her husband's eyes.
