The Story

A severe case of nearsightedness keeps a young woman from ever seeing the face of the college boy who consistently helps her. Her ordinary, patriarchal family offers little support, leaving only her grandmother to provide true love. Years pass, and financial desperation forces her to attempt a deception to secure funds for her grandmother's surgery. The man uncovers her scheme before it concludes.
