The Story

Ava Whitmore faces a deadly threat while seven months pregnant, as Claire Bennett kidnaps her to abort her unborn daughter, Luna. The infant speaks from the womb, revealing the Lunar Mark, a genetic trait Claire and her mother Diane have hunted for decades. Diane, a disgraced hematologist, targets Luna’s cord blood to secure a board seat under Whitmore trust law. Ava defends herself by meticulously documenting evidence, preserving syringe barcodes and labeling details to build an undeniable chain of custody. When Diane presents what she believes is the infant’s blood to the board, laboratory analysis exposes the sample as merely maternal, lacking the specific marker. Ava survives the difficult delivery and emerges as the legal protector of her child. Luna’s first spoken word after birth is Safe, confirming the family’s security and the failure of the villains’ long-standing scheme.
