CEO Husband in Plain Sight

The Story

Mia Bennett marries a stranger named Henry Cole to comfort her ailing grandmother, only for him to vanish immediately after the ceremony. A year later, she secures a position at the Colecrest Group and unexpectedly becomes the personal assistant to Adrian Cole, a CEO known for his icy demeanor. Unaware of the truth, Mia serves the man who is secretly her missing husband. Adrian, in turn, does not recognize his wife in the capable assistant who works under his roof. He finds himself increasingly drawn to her, balancing his intention to compensate her for the lost year against his plan to divorce her. The two remain completely oblivious to their shared history, navigating a daily dynamic filled with protection, misunderstanding, and growing attraction. Mia continues her work without knowing the identity of the man she serves, while Adrian struggles with his conflicting feelings toward the woman who has unknowingly returned to his life.
