Changing Fate with the Immortal Peach

The Story

A dream of the God of Wealth grants Tang Xinlan an impossible gift. Her barren tree produces a single immortal peach the next day. She tries to harvest it for her sick mother, but her in-laws block her. They despise her background and gamble away their money. Upon finding the fruit, they exclude her, yet she secretly hides a slice. When the in-laws eat the peach, they spit out gold ingots during a heated argument. Tang Xinlan needs 300,000 for her mother’s medical bills. She consumes her hidden slice and gains the ability to sweat gold. Her mother-in-law steals the precious metal. The in-laws get swindled, and the father-in-law gambles the gold away. The husband threatens his parents’ life. After the husband harms his parents, Tang Xinlan divorces him. She uses the peach’s power to build wealth. She becomes village chief to help others.
