Cut Off The Bloodsucking Family Collapses
The Story
Eddie, a Wall Street professional raised in foster care, finally finds the family warmth he always craved, but only by funding his wife Scarlett’s relatives. For years, he covers their living expenses, provides his brothers-in-law with cash for homes and leisure, and even single-handedly pays a one-million-dollar down payment on a luxury villa. At a Christmas dinner, the family matriarch Matilda hands out expensive game consoles and shopping cards to every boy but deliberately skips Eddie’s daughter, Polly. She publicly declares the girl unworthy of family resources and allows other grandchildren to throw food at her. Witnessing his daughter’s humiliation, Eddie’s long-suppressed resentment erupts. He immediately cancels the villa down payment and redirects the money into Polly’s trust fund, severing ties with the group. Scarlett, conditioned by her family, insists he is overreacting. She repeatedly sides with her relatives, calls him stingy, and threatens divorce to force him to give in.
