Daisy Hears Animal Voices

The Story

A crumbling zoo faces imminent closure until six-year-old Daisy reveals a rare ability to understand animals completely. She and her father reject the standard model of trick-performing exhibits, choosing instead to welcome troubled and misunderstood creatures. Their new residents include a lion suffering from a toothache, a gluttonous polar bear, a gorilla who loves basketball, a nearsighted cobra, and a pack of tactical hyenas. Each animal carries hidden pain, quirky habits, and unmet needs. Daisy listens with empathy rather than demanding obedience, healing their wounds and allowing their true charm to shine. Together, they transform the failing facility into a booming wildlife sanctuary. They also fight off ruthless commercial rivals and prove that every misunderstood soul deserves respect. The group forges a warm, blended family of humans and beasts, turning financial ruin into a thriving community built on mutual respect and deep emotional connection.
