Delayed Retribution

The Story

Karen returns home to find her daughter Anna critically injured by a house fire. A kind stranger named Merry and fire captain Bob rush the five-year-old to the hospital for emergency surgery. As the fire truck speeds toward the facility, it collides with Karen’s car. The housewife forces the drivers to kneel and pay for the damages. She ignores the pleas of Merry, medic Eve, and nearby bystanders. Karen refuses to yield, completely unaware that the vehicle she is punishing is currently saving her own daughter.
