Divorced on My Birthday, I Inherited $40 Billion

The Story

Trevor slides a divorce agreement across the table on Angelica’s birthday night, ending their six-year marriage because she has not given him a child. His pregnant mistress blows out the candles in front of everyone, and his mother hands Angelica a fifty thousand dollar check while demanding she leave with dignity. Angelica does not argue or cry. She signs the papers calmly. Three hours earlier, her lawyer informed her that her unknown grandfather died and left his entire forty billion dollar business empire to her. When they meet again, Trevor seeks a partnership to save his company from bankruptcy. He fails to realize that the woman at the head of the boardroom holds his company’s fate. As Angelica reclaims what was taken, a major secret emerges. The one unable to have children was never Angelica. The baby growing inside the mistress was never Trevor’s.
