Family Misfortune: Toxic Grandma Spoils the Brat

The Story

Stephen Hayes drags his family to a jewelry store to secure a promotion, but chaos erupts when his son Luke lifts a woman's skirt and steals items under grandma Shirley's watchful eye. Instead of stopping the behavior, Shirley shrugs it off and takes Luke outside, where he vandalizes a luxury car. She praises the vandalism and viciously insults the pregnant owner, Lauren, cursing her unborn child. Audrey apologizes to Lauren, but Stephen scolds his stepmother for overreacting. Unbeknownst to the Hayes family, Lauren is the CEO's wife, Mrs. Sterling. The situation spirals out of control, leading to Stephen losing his job and falling into debt. Audrey divorces him in response to his actions. While fleeing the consequences, Shirley and Luke run a red light and are killed in a crash. Stephen is left alone with endless remorse over the destruction of his life.
